How the money works

What if the event doesn't fund?+
Every supporter gets a full refund automatically. You owe nothing. The venue deposit comes back to MŪZE.
When do I get paid?+
Three tranches: 30% when the goal is hit, 30% one week before the event, 40% after. Direct ACH or wire.
Do I need a venue already?+
No. Apply with just a concept. Once accepted, MŪZE coordinates the deposit. Venue stays TBA until confirmed.
What does MŪZE charge?+
MŪZE takes a 10% platform fee from the total raised. You set your funding goal to cover your event costs — you keep everything above costs minus the 10%. We walk you through the exact math during onboarding.
NYC only?+
For now, yes. NYC-first while we get the model right.
What events work best?+
Concerts, dinners, mixers, pitch nights, poker, workshops — anything where a specific community has a reason to commit early.
